I am past age 60 and have always had difficulty hearing. Now, however, my hearing loss is beyond hearing aids,which I have been wearing since age 18. Sooooo, in order to communicate, since I can't hear hardly at all, I have to learn sign language. It's quite a feat, for an older person.
