Honestly when I started i was no a beginner, but i thought this books was absolutely perfect. It's super super super simple which is great when starting to learn a new language. It also has funny sentences and interactive learning activities. Great beginner vocabulary and great organization|From the Publisher|Ideal for beginning students of Japanese.
